THANK GOODNESS the 16 page syllabus was amusing. and i love the checklist at the bottom, but i have no clue what many of teh assignments are. hopefully they explain how to use blackboard and blogspot either in class or in the language labs.
one more thing...someone who is NOT Dr. SWILUA, i went to the wrong class today (in room 211). do i need to make up the thing i saw y'all walking around doing?
That is a lot to absorb! I hope my retention is high. P.s. my previous comment was removed because my grammar was wrong, which I realized would not be a good thing when you are commenting on an honors writing blog.
That syllabus has to be one of the most unexpectedly entertaining things I have ever read. I'll admit I groaned a little when I saw how long it was, but I am now very thankful for it.
I love the syllabus. I am getting sick of explaining why I keep laughing randomly in the hallway while reading this, and having to explain the situation to all of my thoroughly confused roommates. i just don't think they understand your humor as well as I do. I am looking forward to this class!
Uhhh... gluten-free brownies. Unfortunately, I haven't had any of those yet (WAY too expensive). But my sister made chocolate-chocolate-zucchini bread for me every time we went to her house back in TN after I was diagnosed. I actually think that said bread is better than brownies (yes, I just wrote that... because it's TRUE). I loved the syllabus, by the way.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I've read the syllabus and I love the sarcasm! I can tell this will be a lot of fun!

I don't think so, cause SWILUA was out today. It was her sister teaching.
ReplyDeleteWill do.
ReplyDeleteI'm recording the time it took me to read the syllabus in my coursework log. Ha.
ReplyDeleteI'm not completely comfortable with everything, but that's good. I want to be pushed beyond my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteI will need SOME clarification in class but, I get it for the most part. :)
ReplyDeleteAll right, I'll do it
ReplyDeleteFor a 16 page syllabus, that was fantastic.
ReplyDeletethis is the best syllabus I have ever read

ReplyDeleteSweet stuff. Can't wait to get into routine so that all this seems less stressful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with johnny. this class sounds SUPER fun, but just a lil bit stressful...
ReplyDeleteI think this class will be a party even though I'm sorta freaking out right now because I'm thoroughly confused.

ReplyDeleteThe syllabus has information I believe I will be using the entire semester. It should prove to be very useful.
ReplyDeleteSo if I read the syllabus before classes began, can I add that to my coursework log somewhere...?
ReplyDeleteBrandon B.
This syllabus is pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow. We're writing a lot in less than four months' time.

ReplyDeleteI like it crazy.
ReplyDeletefunnest syllabus i've ever read...seriously.
ReplyDeleteI love how honest it is, and how your personality comes out. Entertaining read for sure.
ReplyDeleteDitto to what everyone else said.
ReplyDeleteSo it seems.

ReplyDeleteI read the Syllabus!
ReplyDeleteYou managed to make 16 pages of what I thought would be a bunch of boringness into a blast! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI read the syllabus.
ReplyDeleteI liked the syllabus. Even though it was SUPER long. This class has been one of my favs.
ReplyDeleteLongest syllabus ever! Although it was entertaining. I read it
