My name is Dr. SWILUA. (Pronounced "Swill-oo-ah") That's short for "She Who Is Like Unto Aphrodite." It's my official title, thanks.

  4. I don't think so, cause SWILUA was out today. It was her sister teaching.

  5. I'm recording the time it took me to read the syllabus in my coursework log. Ha.

  6. I'm not completely comfortable with everything, but that's good. I want to be pushed beyond my comfort zone.

  7. I will need SOME clarification in class but, I get it for the most part. :)

  11. That is a lot to absorb! I hope my retention is high. P.s. my previous comment was removed because my grammar was wrong, which I realized would not be a good thing when you are commenting on an honors writing blog.

  12. Sweet stuff. Can't wait to get into routine so that all this seems less stressful.

  14. I think this class will be a party even though I'm sorta freaking out right now because I'm thoroughly confused.

  15. That syllabus has to be one of the most unexpectedly entertaining things I have ever read. I'll admit I groaned a little when I saw how long it was, but I am now very thankful for it.

  16. The syllabus has information I believe I will be using the entire semester. It should prove to be very useful.

  17. So if I read the syllabus before classes began, can I add that to my coursework log somewhere...?

  20. I love the syllabus. I am getting sick of explaining why I keep laughing randomly in the hallway while reading this, and having to explain the situation to all of my thoroughly confused roommates. i just don't think they understand your humor as well as I do. I am looking forward to this class!

  21. Thank goodness for an entertaining syllabus. Most of my other syllabi lose me in the first page.

  23. I love how honest it is, and how your personality comes out. Entertaining read for sure.

  25. Uhhh... gluten-free brownies. Unfortunately, I haven't had any of those yet (WAY too expensive). But my sister made chocolate-chocolate-zucchini bread for me every time we went to her house back in TN after I was diagnosed. I actually think that said bread is better than brownies (yes, I just wrote that... because it's TRUE). I loved the syllabus, by the way.

  27. You managed to make 16 pages of what I thought would be a bunch of boringness into a blast! Yay!
